The Maine ESSA Data Dashboard provides public access to data from Maine's assessment and accountability system, the Maine Educational Assessment (MEA).  Information is provided about how Maine's students performed on state assessments in Mathematics, English Language Arts, and Science.

We believe taking the state assessments is important.  Please read our information to find out how these tests can help our students and our schools.  The Maine Department of Education "Why Participation Matters" flyer is linked below.

Parent's Guide to Standardized Testing

Once we receive your child’s Maine Educational Assessment Individual Student Report (ISR), we will send a copy home to you.  If you would like more information on how to interpret the report, please contact your child’s teacher or principal.

Opting Out of State Assessments

RSU 25 utilizes all assessment data to help inform our instructional practices at the district, school, classroom, and individual levels for our students.  Although we encourage students and parents to participate fully in our assessment program, it is important to note that parents/guardians may opt their child(ren) out of state testing.  If you are interested in doing so, please reach out to your child’s principal to complete the required form linked below.
