Dear Parents / Guardians

As we approach the beginning of the holiday season and families will have the opportunity to gather and visit, it will be important for us all to interact safely.  Across the State we are seeing an increase in the number of COVID 19 cases being reported and the impacts of that increase affecting schools around the State.

If you travel outside of Maine please familiarize yourself with the most current travel guidance, and be aware of which states are on the exempt list and which states will require students to complete either a 14 day quarantine period or proof of a negative COVID test before they may return to in-person programming.  The exempt state list and most recent travel guidance may be found on the state’s website:

It is important we all remain vigilant and follow the guidelines in order to have our students in our buildings. Please continue to conduct the daily symptom screening at home before your student gets on the bus or arrives at school. Our goal is to reduce the need for any school shutdowns and minimize the need for students, families and staff to quarantine.

If you do find you or your family has had exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please contact our school nurses as soon as possible and keep your child home. The nurses may be contacted by calling the main office of your child’s school.

Thank You for your continued cooperation and enjoy the coming holidays.
