Dear Parent, Guardian, Staff and Community Member:
Pesticides with the trade names of Demand CS and the EPA registration number of 100-1066, MasterLine B-Maxx Pro EPA registration number of 279-3206-73748 and Taurus SC EPA registration number of 53883-279 is scheduled to be applied on May 20, 2023, at specific locations of:
- 52 Miles Lane (Miles Lane School)
- 100 Miles Lane (Middle School)
- 102 Broadway (High School).
Application will be the shrub and tree line of listed locations as well as the perimeters of the buildings.
This is being done to help manage Mosquitos, Fleas and Ticks as well as other exterior general pests, as part of our Integrated Pest Management Program to ensure a healthy school environment. Signs will also be posted at access points and at these central locations at least two working days prior to, and will remain posted for 48 hours after, the application. This notice is being provided at least five days prior to the planned pesticide application in accordance with our school’s Integrated Pest Management Policy and in compliance with Maine Board of Pesticides Control Regulation CMR 01-026 Chapter 27.
