There are many tools for finding information on the World Wide Web. Some are called search engines, others are called directories, and many are a blend of these two forms. None of these tools cover the entire Web, so users should determine which ones best serve their needs.

ExciteThis search engine tracks information by searching for concepts, not just keywords. Works hard at staying current.
YahooA directory of Internet links grouped by subject categories and subcategories. This directory is good for finding popular and general information.
